I am excited to tell you all that I am beginning a brand new chapter of my life. I am going to finish school. I am pursuing a career as an RN which means completing nursing school in the next few years. Today was the first day of my first semester.
Some things that have happened since I last posted include:
- Our coparenting situation has drasically improved!
- My step daughter, Brilynn Mae, just turned at 4 the end of December!
- My biological daughter is now almost 8 months old, can eat crackers, and is so close to crawling!
- Kimberly says “dada”, “baba”, “nana”, and “papa” but still no “mama” much to my dismay!
- She also is beginning to hold her bottle all on her own!
- My husband got a better paying job which allows him to spend more time with me and the kids!
There may be more that I am forgetting but I think that covers it. I am looking forward to having more time to update now that my youngest child is a bit more independent, sadly. I am thinking of committing to the Keto way of eating within the next few months to try and shed some of this baby weight. I have only heard good things.
Kimberly is turning one year old come the end of May. I cannot wait! Also, I am going to be turning the big 21 in July. My husband, who is 23, is excited for that milestone haha.
I am going to be looking for as many educational science projects, activities, books, etc. as I can for my stepdaughter so any recommendations are welcome. Right now her mother and I are trying to help her learn how to recognize letters. She is doing pretty proficient when she wants too.
One of my goals for 2018 is to begin a bullet journal and stick with it for at least 6 months to see if it will help my productivity. For now I have a mere planner. I am still trying to decide on a bujo to order as well as if I want fancy gel pens, washi tape, and the works. I am a pretty crafty person so I am excited to see what I can do.
One thing that has not dwindled is my obsession with Pinterest. I can spend hours upon hours just surfing through all of the incredible things to be found on Pinterest. If you would like me to check out your boards shoot me an email, comment below, or look me up on Pinterest @allysadunaway.
I hope you enjoy reading my posts and I am always open to chatting with fellow moms and ambitious women! 🙂 Please subscribe and give me some suggestions for what you would like to see me write about! I am also debating doing videos with my posts. If you think that would be a good idea then please let me know! I would like to record videos of me attempting the things I find on Pinterest late at night when I should be asleep lol.
